Wat Saket (The Golden Mount) - Bangkok, Thailand


Wat Saket (Wat Saket Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan) (วัดสระเกศราชวรมหาวิหาร), also known as The Golden Mount where is a Buddhist Temple.
Actually The Golden Mount is part of Wat Saket and is located on top.

The Temple fair is held on November annually.
Opening Hours: Everyday 8.00 a.m. - 6 p.m.



Access (Please choose)

1. MRT Hua Lampong station and take taxi to Wat Saket (Recommend)
2. BTS National Stadium station, take bus no. 47 or no. 15 in front of National Stadium
    (National stadium is next to MBK Center)  


Need to climb up on top and can see nice views.
While walking to the top, can see many bells so ring the bells for good luck.
You may ring the bells after went back from the top.



The walkpath to stupa, a little bit slope so please be careful.
You may see there are many steps to walk to reach the top but in fact it is not much high and worth to climb up.

There are many Thais and tourists visit here.
Recommend to come here in the evening because the weather is not much hot and can see the sunset.
