Tanukikoji Shopping Street and Susukino - Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan

Tanukikoji Shopping Street and Susukino is popular shopping arcade in Sapporo. 
I started shopping from Susukino because I walked from my hotel (Nakajimakoen area).
If you come from Odori Park, you will arrive Tanukikoji first.
I went there in summer so there were some decorations in this street. 

Access

- Susukino Station (Namboku Line) exit 1,3
- Walk 10-15 minutes from Odori Park

It is long and big shopping area. There are a lot of shops and restaurants along the street such as cosmetic shops, karaoke, tax free shops. Shopping street starts from Nishi 1 chome to Nishi 7 chome (7 blocks).

As below map, Tanukikoji Shopping Street is at no.12 and Susukino is at no.16.

On the day that I visited Sapporo had fireworks festival so the some shops sold yukata and kimono. 

Don Quijote (ドン・キホーテ) is well-known big discount stores and tax free shop, located at 3 chome on Tanukikoji Shopping Street. It opens 24 hours. The stores sell many kinds of products such as snack, drink, accessories, cosmetics, food ingredients, souvenirs and etc.

Susukino

Convenience stores, book stores, restaurants are in this area. There is supermarket on basement floor. Big Daiso and other 100 shops are also in Susukino area.
Susukino is very close to Tanukikoji Shopping street.
