Keifuku Randen Tram - Kyoto, Japan


Keifuku Randen Tram is operated by Keifuku Electric Railroad. Tram is an alternative for travelling in Kyoto. There are 2 lines; Arashiyama Line and Kitano Line. Arashiyama Line runs between Shijo Omiya and Arashiyama. Kitano Line runs between Katabiranotsuju and Kitano-Hakubaicho. JR Pass does not covers Keifuku Randen Tram but covered by Kansai Thru Pass. IC Card is available.


Pass

1. Randen One Day Pass: Adult 500 yen, Child 250 yen  (Unlimited ride for one day)
You can also get savings on shrines, temples and facilities such as Tenryuji, Toei Kyoto Studio Park, Ryoan Ji 

2. Kyoto Subway and Randen One-day Pass: 1,000 yen (Adult pass only)
Give unlimited rides on Randen (both 2 lines) and Kyoto Municipal Subway.
Sales Location: Main Randen Stations and Kyoto Municial Transportation Bureau Stations 


3. Randen and Toei Kyoto Studio Park Set Pass:
- Adult 2,300 yen
- Junior high school student 1,400 yen
- Child 1,200 yen
*This is for visitor who want to go to Toei Kyoto Studio Park
Admission Ticket + Two train tickets (round trip)


4. Randen and Sagano Pass: Adult 700 yen, Child 350 yen
Give you Randen One Day Pass and unlimited rides of Kyoto buses (route in the direction of Arashiyama)
Sales locations: Main Randen Stations, Kyoto Bus Arashiyama Sales Office and Kyoto Station Bus Ticket Center

Fare: Flat rate - Adult 210 yen, Child 110 yen
Pay fare when you get off (IC Card is acceptable)
If you use Kansai Thru Pass, insert the card in the fare machine.
If you don't have exact fare, use changing machine. 
Get on the tram either at the front or the rear but get off at the front door only.
If you get off at terminal station i.e. Arashiyama, get off the tram first. Staff will bring the fare machine near the exit gate, then pay the fare.

From Osaka
- Umeda Station (Hankyu Kyoto Line) > Sai (A2)
